These were a good work boot that survived 51 weeks of abuse dished out by a 185 pound guy toting a 40lb tool backpack plus tool belt all day. The roomy toe box lets my feet spread out as they expand throughout the day which is unlike my previous steel toed Thorogoods. No blisters or hot spots in my feet until just before their retirement.i had to replace the insoles at 6 months and got the moderate arch support Keen ones which I feel are part of the reason these boots lasted as long as they did. I burned up the laces early due to welding spatter but the synthetic material surprisingly did not show any signs of heat damage.I would buy these again and may yet do so if the price drops back down. I replaced them with Keen Cincinnatis only because of the price.
