I'm giving this 5 stars even though I think it is pricey. The point is just slightly different from other brands; It is very slightly rounded. I also have the smaller version of it in the easy start size. I like the mid size the best for most things. There are some advantages to the handle shape, but I think I like the conventional handle design better. However, that's just my personal preference and many turners prefer the Easy Wood handle design. This is an excellent quality tool that I will and do use a lot. No regrets on this purchase.
